Introduction

Integrated Government Solutions, Inc., d.b.a. @Gov (“Company,” “us”, “our,” or “we”) knows that privacy is important to you. Your privacy is important to us as well, and we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”). This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect or that you may provide when you register an account for, access, or use ApostilleXpress™ (the “Platform” or “AX”) and our associated websites, as well as our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing such information.

This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect through the Platform, our websites on which it is posted, and in email and other electronic communications sent through or in connection with the Platform (collectively, the “Services”).  We only collect and use Personal Information (as that term is defined below) for the specific, limited purposes described herein to deliver and improve the Services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that we collect from any other source, including any third-party websites you may access through the Services. These third-party websites may have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before providing information on or through them.

If you do not agree with our practices or the terms of this Privacy Policy, do not access, register an account with, or use the ApostilleXpress™ Platform or other Services. 2. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. Your continued use of the ApostilleXpress™ Platform and any other Services after we revise this Privacy Policy means you accept those changes, so please check periodically for updates, as they are binding upon you.

3. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not intended for minors that are under eighteen (18) years of age or the age set by applicable State law, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children without parental consent. If we learn we have collected or received Personal Information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. In accordance with The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), if you become aware that a child under age 13 has provided us with Personal Information without parental consent or not as otherwise allowed by applicable law, please contact us at [email protected]. Once we become aware, we will take steps to remove the child’s Personal Information as required by applicable law.

Information We Collect and How We Collect It

When you access, register an account with, or use the Platform or other Services, we may collect information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (“Personal Information”), including information by which you may be personally identified (such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, and any other identifier (e.g., driver’s license or passport)), as well as information that does not necessarily identify you or another natural person (such as your IP address or other information about your device or usage).

We collect information from and about users of the Services:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us.
  • Automatically when you access or use the Platform or other Services.

Information You Provide to Us

When you register an account with or use the Platform, we may ask you to provide certain information that identifies you, which includes:

  • Information that you voluntarily provide when registering an account with us, filling out forms in the Platform, and requesting and/or subscribing to our Services, such as: your first and last name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, driver’s license or passport, or other identifiers by which you may be identified or contacted.
  • Professional or employment-related information depending on what type of user account you register with us.
  • Records and copies of your communications with us.
  • Details of transactions you carry out through the Platform and of the fulfillment of your orders. You may be required to provide financial information before placing an order through the Platform, which may be subject to the privacy policy of a third party.

We note that we do not review the content of any documents uploaded or shared via the Platform, which we do not consider to be Personal Information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.  Such documents may be sensitive in nature, and are uploaded solely at your own risk. Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies  

When you access and use the Services, we may use technology to automatically collect details about: (1) your access to and use of the Services; (2) about your device and internet connection, including your device’s unique device identifier, IP address, operating system, and browser type; and (3) information about the location of your device, including precise geolocation data.

If you do not want us to collect this information, do not access or use the Services. While you may opt-out of the collection/sharing of certain information in the Services, please note that certain features of the Services may not function properly should you opt-out.

We use “cookies” (small text files stored locally on your devices) to help us improve your access to and use of the Services. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of users of our Services to enhance the experience on our website and the Platform. Most internet browsers have configuration settings to disallow the acceptance of cookies. However, setting a browser to reject cookies may, in certain instances, prevent you from taking full advantage of the Services.  Certain third parties such as our payment processors may also require that you accept cookies in order for the “shopping cart” feature in the Platform to work properly. Usage of a cookie is not linked to any Personal Information that may identify you.  We do not use or share any personal information, including automatically collected information and/or information collected through cookies or similar technology, for marketing purposes or for any other purpose other than making the Services available to you and for improving the Services.

Sensitive Information

Some of the Personal Information that you provide to us or that we collect from you when you use the Services may be considered “sensitive” Personal Information under applicable laws (such as the information of a minor that has been provided with parental consent or precise geolocation data).  By providing such information and accessing and using the Services, you explicitly consent to our collection and use of such Personal Information solely for the purposes described herein.

Third-Party Information Collection

When you use the Platform, certain third parties such as our payment processing vendors, government agencies, and third-party notary platforms may collect Personal Information from you.  We recommend that you carefully review the privacy policies of any third parties. Such third parties may collect Personal Information from you, or we may share information with such third parties, solely for the purposes of providing and improving the Services.

4. How We Use Your Personal Information

We may use Personal Information that we collect about you or that you provide to us to:

  • Provide the Services and any other information, products, or services that you request from us, including allowing the purchase of products and services offered by us in the Platform and to complete such transactions.
  • To create and maintain your user account for the Platform, including providing notices about your account or any subscriptions and to communicate with you.
  • Fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
  • Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.
  • Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our Platform according to your individual interests, and recognize you when you use or sign into your account with us.
  • To understand usage patterns and any issues with the Services, and to improve the Services.

5. How We Share/Disclose Your Personal Information

We may disclose aggregated information about our users (which does not identify you or any individual or device). We may also disclose Personal Information that we collect or that you provide:

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business, including payment processors to allow you to complete a purchase through the Platform or through our third-party partners (including relevant state agencies and receiving parties as described in our Terms of Use).
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger or other sale or transfer of some or all of the Company’s assets.
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it and/or for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.

  • For legal purposes, including to investigate fraudulent use or other misuse of the Platform and to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
  • To enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including the ApostilleXpress™ End User Agreement and Terms of Use, as applicable.
  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our customers, or others.

WE DO NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. WE DO NOT SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR PURPOSES OF PROFILING OR FOR TARGETED ADVERTISING AS THOSE TERMS ARE DEFINED UNDER APPLICABLE LAWS.

6. How We Retain Your Personal Information

We retain Personal Information for legitimate business purposes and to meet legal and regulatory requirements.  We will retain the information associated with an account you register with us to use the Platform as long as your account is active, or you request that such information be deleted. Due to the sensitive nature of certain documents, you and other users may choose to upload to the Platform, we currently retain such documents for only sixty (60) days and/or for 48 hours after completing a relevant transaction.  Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding our data retention policies, which we may update from time to time.

7. Your Choices About Our Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Your Personal Information

We provide you with the following choices regarding your Personal Information that we collect or that you provide to us in connection with the Services:

Opting Out of Certain Uses of Your Personal Information

  • You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse certain cookies or block the use of other tracking technologies, some parts of the Services may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
  • Location Information. You can choose whether or not to allow the Platform to collect and use precise geographic information about your device’s location. If you block the use of location information, some features of the Platform may not function properly.

Accessing, Correcting, & Deleting Your Personal Information

You can review and change certain Personal Information that you provide to us by signing into your account on the Platform and updating such information.

You may also contact us at [email protected] to request to access, correct, or delete any Personal Information that you have provided to us, subject to certain conditions and exceptions.

If your Personal Information was shared with us by an agent or other authorized representative, please contact the individual or organization directly in order to update, change or gain access to this information.

Other Rights

You may request that we transfer the Personal Information that we have collected from you to another organization or to you, under certain conditions.

We will not discriminate against you because you exercise your rights under this Privacy Policy.

We take security seriously and are SOC 2 compliant, which is a designation that attests to a company’s commitment to security, confidentiality, and privacy.  We have implemented and maintain reasonable measures designed to secure your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored locally in a secured environment and utilizes encryption technologies.  However, we cannot guarantee that the transmission of information via the internet or our Services is 100% secure. Thus, any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures we provide.

10. Usernames & Passwords

You may select or be issued a username and password when you register an account with us in connection with the Platform. You are responsible for keeping your usernames and passwords confidential, as you are responsible for any access, use, or activities on the Platform under your email address or username.
